A look back at 2016!

Happy New Year friends! Hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing holiday and new year. I really want to spend sometime looking back at 2016. It was such a special year for us as we welcomed McKenna into our little family.

I pulled down our 2016 calendar and flipped back to January. It is fun for me to see what we were doing a year ago.
Here are some highlights and things I want to remember!

January 6th- found out gender of baby GIRL!
Feb- started attending new bible study, one that has proved such an answer to prayer for me
March- Was in tons of pain from pregnancy. Hit the 30 week mark.
April- Sprinkle shower to celebrate McKenna, Austin spent overnight with Kiki and Dan and I got away alone
May- Mckenna was born!
June- Tree fell in our backyard and destroyed the pool. The headaches and many phone calls began to fix all the problems.
July- Austin turned 2! (We were all sick with the flu and had to postpone his party)
August- Got new car, took kids to beach, took kids to Maine
September- Courtney and Peters Wedding, Austin started soccer, Demo on the pool began
October- Filled with bible study and playdates
November- Thanksgiving in Maryland, Trip to PA, and birthday parties
December- Christmas home with kiddos, baking cookies, time with neighbors

Its crazy how fast a year goes! I am in awe looking back and feeling like some of these things happened yesterday. I am also beyond grateful for the blessings we have been given.
